Following medical school at Heidelberg University, Germany, Dr Tuna specialised in ear, nose and throat medicine. This was followed by training in dermatologic surgery and allergology at the dermatology department at University Hospitals Mannheim, Germany. He then worked as senior physician in the ear, nose and throat department of Augsburg Hospital, Germany while undertaking further training in plastic surgery.

Dr. Tuna later moved to the Department of Otolaryngology at University Hospital Frankfurt. Since 2013 he has been an established ENT doctor in Frankfurt am Main. Dr. Tuna received his MD degree from Heidelberg University, and also holds a qualification in plastic surgery.
